International Trust, Corporate Services House Names Global CEO

(formerly Newhaven), an independently-held trust and corporate services provider, has appointed Charlotte Denton as global chief executive. 

Having led the Guernsey office since January this year and overseen rebranding of the business, Denton now takes responsibility for the global operation, the firm said in a statement yesterday.

Denton is a chartered accountant who began her financial services career more than 20 years ago at Rothschild and then Barings. The latter was acquired by Northern Trust, where she spent five years in London.

“I was invited to thoroughly review Newhaven, which has been quietly successful for more than 20 years, and this resulted in a vibrant rebrand for the business, Denton said. “It’s been a fascinating project and I’m very excited now to take on the management responsibility for the global operation and take it to the next stage. While we revisited the name and look of the brand there’s a lot that we definitely didn’t need to change. NWH Global employs great, expert people and we remain focused on excellence and the continual development of our team. We also remain independent and committed to focusing on clients’ unique personal circumstances from our multi-jurisdictional presence in key locations around the world.”

NWH Global has offices in Guernsey, BVI, Hong Kong, Dubai, Mauritius and New Zealand, and has around 20 members of staff working across the world.
